One of those was Elizabeth Taylor. Between 1993 & 1997 she designed various collections for Avon the most successful being those based on the films Cleopatra, Elephant Walk and The Taming of the Shrew. Elizabeth Taylor was famous for being meticulous & demanding and she supervised every detail of the design and fabrication of all the pieces that bore her name. All the pieces that she designed for Avon bore an “E”.
In 2005 Elizabeth founded her own costume jewellery company: “The House of Taylor”, with a shop in Beverly Hills.
